You & Me, Mum

You & Me, Mum is a 10 week course programme for Mothers which will help you understand how domestic abuse impacts on you as a parent and how it impacts on your children.

It will empower, support and develop further understanding of your role as a Mother in addressing the needs of your children and young people.

The course focuses on self empowerment and mutual aid. It doesn’t directly work with children. It recognises the central role of Mothers in the protection and positive development of their children and young people.

You can come along and share your experiences within the sessions or just LISTEN, the choice is yours. Due to the nature of the course it is imperative to attend all sessions.

Approved childcare costs will be refunded however you are required to source a qualified childcare provider.

Freedom Programme

The Freedom programme is an informal get together, it is usually run for 10 weeks on a set day, however after having run the freedom programme this way for a few years, we have decided to try something new and are going to run the freedom programme for 5 weeks, having a day a week to complete multiple sessions. These sessions are for women to understand the beliefs of abusive men and the effects on our children and upon ourselves.

You can come along and share your experiences within the sessions or just LISTEN, the choice is yours, and you can also come to all the sessions or pick and choose.

Approved childcare costs will be refunded however you are required to source a qualified childcare provider.
